Desiccant Bags and Bandoliers
Product Range:
From 50grm up to 1 Kilo in tough, dust-proof encapsulation material which is approved for use in contact with foods. (See product sizes and packing quantities in the chart below).
Bandoliers:
Sachets can be linked together to give any single length pack i.e. 7 x 500grm bags linked in a continuous string. (3.5 kilo).
Desiccant:
Silica Gel conforming to BS7554 or Modified Clay BS7529
25grm Silica Gel = 1 DU (desiccant unit)
25grm Modified Clay = 1 DU
33grm Activated Clay = 1 DU
Super Desiccant:
Maintaining safe humidity levels within product packaging and containers to avoid moisture-related damage such as caking, corrosion, mould, and mildew. A dry powder which adsorbs 10 times the amount of silica gel w/w but goes solid when moisture adsorbed. (125g or 250g ONLY)
Def Stan 81-68
The standard range below allows for the production of these bags in any pack size. They have a 2-year shelf life and each bag is printed with the date of manufacturing, as required by the standard. As a result, we do not keep inventory; instead, we produce on demand.
MIL-D-3464E
These are often Clay, not silica gel, but we can produce either. Contains chemically inert, packaged dehydrating chemicals that absorb moisture from the air in confined spaces to avoid mildew and rust. The description is usually in DU rather than in weight.
